Though now destroyed, this work was a learning experience in many ways and even broke new personal ground in terms of techniques.
Midway into the work I was told that it was attracting interest from buyers and that I should send pictures and details to the gallery. I do not know what this triggered to throw me off my game, but I began to question everything severely and despite all the months of effort put in, the work started to feel diluted and reduced to something un-relatable.

After many frustrating days of trying to somehow justify it, I had no option left but to pour thinner all over the work to get it out of my system.
